So this year, Mike, Mabli and I are going on a trip to the UK to be with our families for Christmas and Tamra will be in Vancouver with all her boys (this will be the first Christmas we will spend appart in 5 years! Meep…).
So the blog will be hybernating for the end of December and most of January whilst we work on a few new and exciting developments at Gallant and Jones, which include a new website (yay!) some new products and a change of offices and workspace where we can develop our designs and product ideas…
We are going to be taking the whole of January off to get these things sorted.

Another talented Vancouverite, Bronwen Kyffin of ‘My Favourite Blanket’ is our feature artist for this weeks Handmade and Hot post. Her beautiful blankets are so bright and fun, they caught our eye immediately. What young child would not love a playful handmade blanket custom made with their name on it! I’m sure she is very busy this time of year with craft shows and Christmas orders but she still took the time to share with us a little about herself, her business and her inspiration.
